A RESCUED RAW MATERIAL
Until now, fruit pits have only been a little-used by-product of fruit farming. However, our strategic partner Kern Tec, a start-up from Austria, found an innovative way to turn fruit pits into a valuable product for the food industry. In the spirit of the circular economy and maximum resource utilization, we at Privatmolkerei Bauer are working with Kern Tec to save apricot kernels from going to waste and produce delicious plant-based products from largely unused resources.
SUSTAINABLY DELICIOUS
Apricot kernels have particularly low water consumption and CO2 emissions. What's more, they are simply delicious: they taste similar to almonds and have a pleasantly nutty aftertaste. It's best to see for yourself and try one of our incredibly tasty products!
