THERE ARE MORE THAN 1,000 DIFFERENT STRAWBERRY VARIETIES
A DISTINCTION IS MADE BETWEEN EARLY, MEDIUM AND LATE RIPENING FRUITS
What do Elvira, Elsanta and Julietta have in common? They all belong to the strawberry family - as do more than 1,000 other varieties with names such as Honeoye, Sweet Mary XXL and Mieze Schindler. The latter is one of the older varieties that are now often grown by private gardeners.
Strawberries are generally differentiated according to their ripening time. Elvira is an early-ripening strawberry, Elsanta is a medium-ripening strawberry and Julietta is a representative of the late-ripening strawberry varieties. As we love strawberries in our yogurts and know a lot about them, we thought we'd share our knowledge with you. After all, we share our yogurts with you too.
