One thing is clear - we love strawberries. Whether as an ingredient in cakes or pastries, in ice cream or milkshakes, strawberries are indispensable in summer. But what we commonly refer to as a fruit is in fact a collective fruit. In other words, the small yellow seeds on the surface are the actual fruit of the strawberry plant.
Other facts - Not all strawberries have to be red. The pineapple strawberry has white flesh with red nuts. Strawberries are very popular in Germany, as we consume an average of 3.7 kilograms of strawberries per capita in one season. The berries have been collected by humans since ancient times and can be found from tiny wild berries to "size L". Although the fruit is sweet, it is very low in calories and is perfect as a healthy snack.

Whichever combination you choose, the first step is to wash the strawberries, remove the stalks and cut them into bite-sized pieces. For extra sweetness, you can sprinkle the berries with icing sugar and then combine with your choice of other fruit, nuts or dairy products and enjoy.
