Poppy-Seed-Cake with Yoghurt
Ingredients | For a 25 cm loaf pan |
2 pack | Vanilla sugar |
3 | Eggs |
200 g | Flour |
200 g | Sugar |
1 pinch | Salt |
1 cup | "Der Große Bauer Bourbon Vanilla" |
1 pack | Baking powder |
150 ml | Sunflower oil |
100 g | Ground poppy seeds |
Making
1. beat the eggs and sugar until frothy.
2. add "Der Große Bauer Bourbon Vanilla" and oil. Then stir in the vanilla sugar, flour, a pinch of salt and baking powder.
3. pour approx. 2/3 of the butter into the tin.
4. mix the remaining butter with the poppy seeds and spread over the light-colored batter in blobs.
5. bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (top and bottom heat) for approx. 30 minutes.
