THE PERFECT ESPRESSO

THE RIGHT BEAN AND, OF COURSE, THE CREMA!

For the perfect espresso, make sure you use a dark-roasted blend with a certain proportion of Robusta coffee. Special espresso beans have a darker roast that produces less coffee acidity. And of course, everyone wants to see a great crema on their espresso. It is an important indicator of quality and should be dense and golden brown. You can put a spoonful of sugar on such a "real" crema and watch how the little mound of sugar slowly seeps away after a few seconds. Incidentally, it has been proven that more crema forms when Robusta coffee is used than with Arabica coffee.
